RE/MAX Lake Oconee, which has been assisting families in the lake area since 2019, has launched a new luxury division that will focus on listing, marketing and selling high-end properties. The additional branding will allow RE/MAX Lake Country and its newest team Sage Realty Group to expand its services to the community and highlight the resources available to affluent owners and others seeking to relocate in the area. 

“With the Lake Oconee luxury market experiencing a tremendous building boom, there’s been an increasing need for a luxury division here in Greensboro, especially one that has the brand recognition of RE/MAX,” said Sandra Shurling, broker/owner of RE/MAX Lake Country. “Now that we’ve added this luxury offering to our office, we have a real opportunity to reach affluent clients and offer the resources and marketing power of a global real estate company.”  

Heading up our luxury division will be our newest team, Sage Realty Group, with team leaders Shirley Smith and Paul Kautza.  Many of you recognize Shirley Smith who has more than 20 years experience selling water front homes both inside and outside the gated communities. “I am so blessed to continue selling real estate while making life long friends here in the Lake Country,” said Smith.  

“Shirley’s husband, Don Smith, recently retired but Shirley has no intention of slowing down which made her new team, Sage Realty Group, the perfect group to launch our new luxury division,” said Shurling. “We are equally excited about Paul Kautza joining the luxury group.”
