I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ice Cream.

On Wednesday, May 25th, the ELKS Lodge 2849, gave the residents at the Georgia War Veterans Home a cake and ice cream social. The Festivities were attended by 24 residents and there were 9 Elk volunteers. It was a beautiful sunny day and everybody enjoyed sitting and getting to know one another.
Lodge 2849 also presented the Home with a check for $900.00, from the Freedom Grant, to be used to make a raised garden in front of a new building on campus that will give housing and therapy to veterans with severe brain trauma from the Persian Gulf war.
