The Milledgeville Chapter of the UGA Alumni Association is once again hosting An Evening with Jeff Dantzler which will be Tuesday, Aug. 30, at Dukes Lounge and Dawg House, 162 Sinclair Marina Road NE, Milledgeville from 5 to 7 p.m. with a $10 charge per person at the door.

All Dawg fans are welcome.

Long time UGA and Athens sports personality Jeff Dantzler will discuss the upcoming football season, including players by position, the schedule and opponents, depth charts and overall outlook for the team.

Lake Sinclair 2022 Classic Wooden Boat Show

Free admission for this popular event featuring antique and wooden boats from across the Southeast.

The Blue Ridge Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society (ACBS) will be hosting the Lake Sinclair 2022 Annual Classic Wooden Boat Show September 24 at the Little River Campground and Marina on Lake Sinclair in Milledgeville, GA.

Enjoy a day at the marina. The public is welcome to this popular annual event that features antique wooden and classic boats of yesteryear. There will be food vendors, activities for kids, and good old-fashioned family fun.

Antique boating enthusiasts from across the Southeast will display and share stories about their restored and vintage craft. Talk to the skippers to learn about the history of each unique boat and learn what it takes to restore and maintain these classics.
