100 Who Care Del Web Lake Oconee recently presented its third quarter donation check of $5,285 to The Thillen Education Foundation. 

The Foundation in partnership with the Greene College & Career Academy (GCCA), provides innovative coaching and financial assistance incentives for all students and Greene County High School. Students earn financial assistance dollars that can be applied to continuing education, military service or to start a career.

The group was then invited to tour the Greene College and Career Academy to see firsthand how their donation will directly benefit the students.  All came away very impressed with the facility and the programs available to the students.

The 100 Who Care Del Webb Lake Oconee meets four times a year to donate to a local nonprofit organization. Their next meeting will be held in December.
