Greensboro FUMC donates to local organizations

The Greensboro First United Methodist Church Mission Team has just completed their fall giving program. Checks have been distributed to the following organizations totaling $12,800.

Greene and Putnam County Rotary and Mission Team – Bookcase project
Neighbors Helping Neighbors and Mission Team – Beds for Kids
Greene County Food Pantry
Greene County Christmas Stocking Fund
Greene County Fire Department – Youth Educational Program
Second Harvest Food Distribution – Monthly Sponsorship
Adopt a Family – Christmas Gift Program

Greensboro FUMC Mission Team will continue to make financial donations to qualified organizations in our community, but over the past year have begun focusing more on “boots on the ground programs”.
