The Lake Country Board of Realtors installed the 2023 board of directors on Dec. 20. 

Greensboro Mayor, Corey Williams was on hand to perform the swearing in ceremony of this membership elected body.

2023 LCBR BOD: President Rich Johns, president-elect Mary Luster, past president Jonathan Vining, VP Rhonda Cook, treasurer Jacyln Collins, secretary Traci Nelson, and directors Larry Bowers, Ed O’Neal, Michelle Strott, Kathy Daniel, Kathy Phillips and Kay McGiboney.

The Lake Country Board of Realtors (LCBR) has more than 500 agent, affiliate and appraiser members.  

LCBR also owns and operates a very active 6 county multiple listing service surrounding the Lake Oconee and Lake Sinclair regional area.  LCBR is a local chapter of the National Association of Realtors. NAR was created 114 years ago when a few real estate agents, who were frequently working with each on real estate transactions, wanted to elevate the profession and formed what is now the largest trade association in the country. As of the end of 2022, there are 1.6 million members of the National Association of Realtors. The term Realtor is only used by members of this organization. Not all real estate agents choose to be Realtors and join this esteemed association. NAR aims to have the highest standards of Ethic and Practices above and beyond what a state real estate licensee would adhere. This led to the NAR Code of Ethics, which all members of the Realtors Associations abide by each day. The state of Georgia has 50 local chapters.
