Lake Oconee Elks Lodge sponsors Hoop Shoot at LOA

Each Year The Elks have basketball Hoop Shoots at various high schools across the nation starting at the local level, then going on to the state level and finally at the national level. This year on Sunday, Jan. 22 the Lake Oconee Elks Lodge No. 2849 held the local Hoop Shoot at the Lake Oconee Academy in Greensboro. Local boys and girls from Greene and Putnam County competed in three divisions, 8-9 year old, 10-11 year old and 12-13 year old.
