Could Lake Country become the next Silicon Valley?
Could it become a home for Georgia’s most impactful technology firms? If local firm APG Emerging Tech has its way, the answer is yes! APG Emerging Tech (APGET) is a Greensboro, Ga.-based digital product strategy, design, and development firm. Put simply, they build and roll out software for large companies in health care, financial services, and FinTech.
“The COVID pandemic accelerated technology professionals working from anywhere. As a company, we embraced a new operating model,” says Justin Cullifer, Co-Founder of APGET. “We opened our lake country offices last year and our team’s creativity and ingenuity has only accelerated thanks, in large part, to the area’s more peaceful environment.”
APGET recently celebrated the successful launch of the ATLinBusiness Marketplace powered by NowNetwork™. APGET’s client, NowCorp, is an innovative B2B payments solution provider headquartered in Atlanta. APGET began working with Now to develop the strategy and user experience for NowNetwork in 2021. In the months since, APGET’s designers and software engineers transitioned the vision for NowNetwork into reality. The Network is Now’s latest advancement in facilitating connections that benefit both large and small business stakeholders, particularly during economic uncertainty.
In collaboration with Invest Atlanta, and several Atlanta-region business affinity groups, the ATLinBusiness Marketplace, powered by NowNetwork™, officially launched on February 1, 2023. The ATLinBusiness Marketplace is a licensed version of NowNetwork™. Atlanta’s Mayor Andre Dickens has challenged metro Atlanta businesses to leverage the ATLinBusiness Marketplace to achieve $500M in local sourcing this year alone. Local sourcing is one of many ways the Mayor’s office is driving innovative ways to help businesses in uncertain economic times.
“As a smaller, diverse business ourselves, we empathize with the target audience of NowNetwork,” says Luke Maslow, Co-Founder of APGET. “Launching this product is an exciting opportunity for our team. Where many firms simply design and build software, we activate our full range of consulting capabilities to include strategy, design and build, driving adoption, go-to-market strategy, marketing, operations, and much more.”
Luke Maslow and Justin Cullifer co-founded APG Emerging Tech with the mission to improve lives through thoughtful design. The company’s core values reflect in their efforts for the ATLinBusiness Marketplace: (1) Operate from a place of empathy and (2) Be excellent stewards of their client’s resources. Consistently recognized by Clutch and Expertise.com as a Top B2B Company, APGET designs great software for scaling and growth-oriented companies.
