Exchange Bank welcomes Carol Holt

Exchange Bank President and CEO John Childs is pleased to announce that Carol Holt joined Exchange Bank on February 22, 2023, as branch manager and loan officer at our Lake Oconee office.

Holt’s banking career began in 1995 as branch manager/loan originator at Magnolia State Bank and continued in 2006 with First Choice Mortgage as a mortgage loan originator. In 2010, she was a mortgage loan processor for Brand Mortgage and joined Exchange Bank in 2014 as a mortgage loan processor. She then took an opportunity at BankSouth as a mortgage loan processor, where Holt spent the past seven years.

“We are so pleased to have Carol join our Exchange Bank team,” said Laura Poyner, city executive and vice president of Exchange Bank of Lake Oconee. “Her passion for building relationships with customers, neighbors, and staff will help our team continue to thrive.”

Holt is family oriented and enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loves the north Georgia mountains, where she and her husband love riding trails and exploring Georgia.
