Picture yourself in Greensboro’s premier venue (Festival Hall) listening to the beautiful music of The Beatles, Chicago, “Fiddler on the Roof,” Fleetwood Mac, “La La Land,” and “West Side Story.”
On April 20, the Lake Country Chorus will present a compilation of all of this and more in its spring show, “Singing Seven Days A Week.”
Forty talented and experienced Lake Country vocalists and musicians have been rehearsing a plethora of songs since January of this year. The chorus is conducted by Donna Valvo and accompanied by Amy Reber. Tom Shalin, the Instrumental Director, has recruited a phenomenal orchestra to accompany the choral group.
After 22 years of performing, the Lake Country Chorus is thrilled to be singing for the first time at Festival Hall in downtown Greensboro. This beautiful venue is a wonderful opportunity to offer a refreshingly new atmosphere to our incredible audience and sponsors.
Tickets for “Singing Seven Days A Week” are $25 and are available through any chorus member and at the Bank South branch next to Publix. For sponsorship opportunities email Melanie Schultz at rometavo@aol.com.
