Dr. Hasitha Mahabaduge, a member of the Greene County Toastmasters Club, recently presented a Ted-X Talk at Georgia College in Milledgeville where he is a professor of physics. His talk addressed the Chaos Theory as it pertains to the world economy. Dr. Mahabaduge was able to take a complex physics theory and simplify it into regular, everyday language for even the most non-technical minds to comprehend.

The speech title was “The Flap of a Butterfly’s Wings,” and it exemplified how butterflies in Georgia can have a cumulative effect in faraway places.
