Greene & Putnam Counties National Day of Prayer another success

The National Day of Prayer was held on May 4, at Lake Point Community Church in Eatonton.
This was the 71st anniversary for the event and the third time for the two counties to join in prayer. Seven pastors from both Greene and Putnam gathered to recite their individual prayer asking God to heal our problems and to continue to bless our wonderful country. Each pastor wrote and delivered their own prayer in what is the biggest ecumenical gathering to celebrate the National Day of Prayer. The prayers were heartfelt, moving, and meaningful asking God to save our country from the turmoil and divisiveness plaguing the country today.
Christina Davis started the call to prayer by blowing the Shofar.
