GREENSBORO, Ga. — Reynolds Lake Oconee is pleased to announce the recipients of its First Quarter Employee Awards for 2023.
Jessica Bellout, Recruiting & Training Manager, Human Resources, has been named Leader of the Quarter, while Kerri Clemons, Member & Guest Services Concierge Supervisor, and Pam Brewer, Snack Bar Lead Line Cook at Great Waters, have been named Employees of the Quarter.
Jessica Bellout joined Reynolds in March 2016. Before joining Reynolds, she was the Banquet Chef, at the Boar’s Head Inn in Charlottesville, Va., and has also worked for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel chain for over nine years.
Bellout began her career with Reynolds as a banquet chef, which she held for two years before accepting a new position as the culinary manager. She then joined the Human Resources Department as HR Recruiting and Training Manager in 2021. Within this role, she oversees all recruiting for the company including the J1 Culinary Interns and the H-2B Visa employees.
“I am honored to be part of the implementation of the J1 and H-2B programs. Through these two programs, we have been able to staff many of our operations and provide some much-needed support for our teams,” Bellout said. “It has been my privilege to recruit and help welcome these additions. J1 Provide culinary students come from around the globe with an opportunity to come to Reynolds on a 12-month visa program to work, learn, and sharpen their skills. International H-2B visa workers come to Reynolds on nine-month work visas during our “season” from April 1through Dec. 31.
“I love the multitude of opportunities Reynolds offers, not only to our members but arguably, more importantly, for the employees. We offer the opportunity to learn, growand advance. It’s great to see an employee start as an intern or a seasonal worker and grow into a leadership role,” Bellout said. “I love being able to go out into the local community, and speak to students about the opportunities here at Reynolds, or invite them on property for a site visit and tour. Many local students don’t know anything about the company, or that they could have career opportunities here at Reynolds.”
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Zouhair, executive chef for Reynolds, and three children, Aya (daughter) age 6, Noah (son) age 5, and Alyssa (daughter) age 2. She loves to cook, bakeand enjoys reading when time allows. She is also on the board of advisors for Greene County High School and feels it is important to give back in any way you can. She holds a bachelor of science degree from Vanderbilt University and an associate’s degree in culinary arts from Johnson and Wales University.
Kerri Clemons came to Reynolds Lake Oconee in late 2020. Clemons started as a line-level member concierge and rose to member concierge and guest services supervisor after six months.
“I truly love the people I work with, from line-level team members to my leadership team, I’m inspired on so many different levels,” said Clemons. “I can only aspire to be as good as my leaders.”
“Before coming to Reynolds, I was a student at Georgia Southern University where I earned my degree in Public Relations,” said Clemons. “After graduation, I wanted to find a career where I could support both myself and my daughter, Teagan. I stumbled across Reynolds, and I haven’t regretted it since.”
In her spare time, Clemons enjoys cooking, readingand spending time with her daughter and mother, Theresa.
Pam Brewer has been with Reynolds for over eight years. She is a mentor for the staff and a go-to person when help is needed and always goes out of her way to exceed member expectations. She knows her area inside and out, and is a true asset for the company. Before joining Reynolds, Brewer was the manager of the Greensboro McDonald’s.
“The best part of my job is the growth opportunities, meeting new people, and working in such a beautiful environment,” said Brewer. “I love cooking and learning different ideas for new dishes.”
When not at the Great Waters Snack Bar you can find Pam with family. Brewer has a son Michael Evans Sr. and one grandson, Michael Evans Jr. She attends Rock Hill Baptist Church in White Plains.
