Pure Chiropractic Milledgeville and Pure Chiropractic Lake Oconee are two of Georgia’s Lake Country’s most trusted chiropractic care providers, serving their communities for over 26 years in Eatonton and now 11 years in Milledgeville.

Since opening its doors as Smith Family Chiropractic in 2000, Pure Chiropractic’s mission continues to be to educate, check, adjust, and love as many families as possible toward optimal health through natural chiropractic care. With that mission in mind, Dr. Ted Smith and the team welcomed aboard Dr. Michael Evans in May 2022, and most recently Dr. Daniel Patrick and Dr. Rebecca Patrick.

Dr. Rebecca Patrick is originally from the small town of Port Republic, New Jersey. She grew up enjoying activities such as fishing, hiking, chasing the sunset and surfing. She loves anything outdoors, being surrounded by God’s nature, and traveling to new places with her husband, Daniel. Dr. Rebecca realized in high school that she was passionate about caring for others as she grew up with health issues. After consistently getting adjusted by her family chiropractor, she noticed she was not getting sick as often as she used to. That is when she and her husband, Daniel Patrick, decided to apply to Life University together. She has a focus in pediatrics and pregnancies but loves to take care of people all ages!

In her time out of the office, you can find Rebecca gardening, taking care of her five chickens, and playing with her two cats, Luna and Moosh.

“Joining the skilled and caring team at Pure Chiropractic is an honor and privilege. I look forward to serving our community’s health needs with their patient-focused approach and outstanding reputation,” she said.

Dr. Daniel Patrick is from south Jersey, where he grew up competing in mixed martial arts and has always been an avid swimmer. He has a passion for the word of God and loves playing guitar and spending time with his wife. Before he became a chiropractor, he was a personal trainer for five years and has a natural ability for helping people. He was regularly adjusted from his chiropractor back in New Jersey in order to stay healthy — that’s how he came to realize that a healthy nervous system is vital in order to keep up with an active lifestyle.

Daniel married his wife Rebecca in 2019 right before entering chiropractic school at Life University. When asked about the three most important things in Dr. Daniel’s life, his reply is “God, my wife, and caring for people through the power of chiropractic — in that order.”

Dr. Daniel is eager to care for our community and the Pure Chiropractic wellness family.

Dr. Ted, who is a wellness chiropractor and the owner/founder of Pure Chiropractic, reflected: “Nearly three decades ago, my wife Karen and I had a vision to make our clinic the go-to place for family wellness in our community. What started out as a small office in downtown Eatonton has grown over the years to also serve Lake Oconee, Milledgeville, Baldwin County, and surrounding areas. Our skilled doctors are passionate about providing excellent patient care. I’m incredibly proud to have built such a talented and dedicated wellness team.”

Celebrating a year at Pure Chiropractic, Dr. Michael Evans, from Milledgeville, graduated from John Milledge Academy in 2007. At JMA, he was a member of the National Honor Society and Senior Beta Club, and his football team won three regional championships. He went on to attend Armstrong State University in Savannah, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation science in May 2012. While pursuing his undergrad, he discovered his passion for chiropractic. After graduation, Dr. Michael moved home for a year, where he shadowed a local chiropractor. He realized that chiropractic was the path that he should take and began classes at Life University in Marietta, in July 2013, where he graduated Cum Laude in December 2016. Dr. Michael’s mission is to improve the health of as many people in the community as possible through natural Chiropractic care.

“I’m thrilled to serve my lifelong hometown community and give back to the people who have given so much to me,” said Dr. Michael Evans. “My goal since starting chiropractic school was always to return home. My years practicing in Warner Robins helped me become an even better doctor, equipping me to provide excellent chiropractic care here in Milledgeville. I’m honored to be a part of the talented team at Pure Chiropractic.”
