Greene Chamber welcomes SAMMY’S Restaurant

GREENSBORO, Ga. — On Friday, Sept. 1, the Greene County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting event to welcome SAMMY’S restaurant to Greene County.

Owners Monte and Shelley Rodriquez have created a relaxed yet upscale sandwich shop with full bar offering something for everyone from sandwiches to flatbreads to charcuterie boards. Even better, they are open every day for lunch and dinner offering another fun dining option to Lake Country.

Bringing their many years of food and beverage experience, Shelley and Monte wanted to offer something different — a place where people come to socialize with friends, watch sports games on the many TVs behind the bar, or simply have a casual family meal.

Be sure to say hello to Monte, Shelley, and son Rudy, who will be on-site every day. SAMMY’S is located at 6141 Lake Oconee Parkway, Suite C, Greensboro, between Pedro’s Mexican and the convenience store.
