Lake Oconee Lodge 2849 competed in the NE & State Soccer Shoots

On Sunday, Nov. 5, Lake Oconee Elks Lodge took part in the NE District and State Soccer Shoots in Conyers at the Elks Aidmore Children’s Home.
Lake Oconee had three first place winners in the NE District competition held in the early afternoon. Coming in first place from Lake Oconee was Charlee Clayton in the U10 girls division, Thomas Partee from Lake Oconee in the U12 boys division and Elliot Mancil from Lake Oconee in the U14 boys division.
At the state soccer shoot held later the same afternoon, Lake Oconee had two first place winners. Charlee Clayton won first place in the U10 girls division and Thomas Partee won first place in the U12 boys division. Elliot Mancil came in second place in the U14 boys division. Congratulations to all of the Lake Oconee winners!
The two first place winners in the State competition, Charlee Clayton and Thomas Partee and their families, will be going to the Florida Elks Youth Camp in January to compete in the Regional Soccer Shoot between Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Mississippi and South Carolina. Good luck to both of them.
