Lake Country Players holding auditions

Lake Country Players is holding auditions for the Agatha Christie mystery “And Then There Were None” Sunday, Jan. 7, from 2-5 p.m., at the Lakeside Church, 5800 Lake Oconee Parkway, Greensboro.

Those attending will be asked to fill out an audition form at registration. It is available at https://lakecountryplayers.org/auditions/.

Characters of “And Then There Were None” include:

Thomas Rogers – 30s – 50s (68 speeches).

Ethel Rogers – 30s – 50s (25 speeches).

Vera Claythorne – 20s (256 speeches).

Phillip Lombard – 25 – 30s (259 speeches).

Anthony Marston – 20s (31 speeches).

Emily Brent – 40s – 80s (72 speeches).

Sir Lawrence Wargrave 50s – 70s (136 speeches).

*Dr. Armstrong 40s – 50s (111 speeches).

*William Blore 40s – 60s (207 speeches).

General Mackenzie 60s – 80s (42 speeches).

Fred Narracott 20s – 70s (11 speeches).

*These characters may be swapped to women’s roles if there aren’t enough men to fill the roles.

The director is Anenaca Simpson. The shows will be at Festival Hall, 201 N. Main Street, Greensboro on March 13–16 at 7 p.m. and March 17 at 2 p.m.

Tickets go on sale to Donors on Jan. 22 and to the public on Feb. 5.

Ticket price is $22 per person. Seating will be at tables of 8, 4 and 2 – there is no requirement to purchase the entire table.

“And Then There Were None” is a 1943 play where 10 strangers are summoned to a remote island. All that the guests have in common is a wicked past they’re unwilling to reveal and a secret that will seal their fate.
