Del Webb Lake Oconee’s 100 Who Care members gathered to celebrate their Four-Year anniversary. During that time, a total of $104,211.10 in donations have been made to 15 local charities in the Lake Country. The focus of the group is to coordinate funding for local charitable organizations to make a collective and impactful donation. Charities must be a 501c3 not for profit organization and funds received must stay within the Lake Oconee Region.Each quarter up to three charities in this region are invited to talk to the group about what they do. Members then vote on which charity they would like to see receive the donation. The one garnering the most votes then receives that quarter’s donation.Pictured are 100 Who Care members showing donations made in the last four years.
