This year the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer is once again supporting Greensboro’s Southland Jubilee. Since its beginning in 1998, Southland Jubilee has been downtown Greensboro’s premiere event garnering a reputation across the region for quality heritage arts. The year Church of the Redeemer is creating and selling handcrafted crosses on wood scraps. These one-of-a-kind pieces have been lovingly crafted by members of the church and included painted crosses on wood and crosses constructed of wood pieces. Proceeds from the sale of the crosses will benefit the many and varied outreach programs supported by Church of the Redeemer. Tours of the historic 1868 sanctuary located on North Main Street will also be available. For more information call Brinkley Pound, 706-453-7171, or email redeemer1868@gmail.com.
