Join The Plaza outside for a free community concert May 31 featuring GridRocked.

GridRocked is Lake Country’s classic rock band covering favorite rock anthems from the ‘60s through the ‘90s.

“We wanted to give back to the community that has given so much to us,” Taylor Surman, marketing director at The Plaza said. “Last year we celebrated our 15th year in Eatonton and people showed up and showed out.”

The Plaza depends on memberships, donations and volunteers to exist, so this free community concert is to give back to everyone in the Lake Country who pours their money, time and efforts into helping create something great at The Plaza.

The concert will serve as a kickoff to the Dairy Festival in Eatonton.

GridRocked will take the stage outside on The Plaza lawn at 7 p.m. on May 31.

There will be food trucks on site. Patrons can bring their own food and drinks as well. This is not a ticketed event, so seating is first come first serve. Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or lawn blankets to sit on. While the music starts at 7 p.m., come and save a spot.
