Vocalist Shayna Steele coming to Madison Cultural Center

MADISON, Ga. — She has performed as the guest soloist for more than 100 North American symphony orchestras including The Dallas Symphony, Rochester Philharmonic and the Detroit Symphony. She has performed in Broadway’s “Rent,” “Jesus Christ Superstar and the Tony award winning “Hairspray!”
On Friday, June 21 Shayna Steele, a woman that London Jazz News said “unleashed enough voltage to light up the West End” will perform at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center at the Center’s historic auditorium.
The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $35.
Steele was born in California, raised in Mississippi and now considers New York city her home. Along the way she has provided background vocals for Bette Midler, Rihanna and Kelly Clarkson and other A list stars on the way to developing a solo career. The Madison show prefaces performances with the San Diego Symphony on July 3 and the Utah Symphony Orchestra on July 12.
