The Knights of Columbus Council 13808 from Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church held its 2024-2025 officer installation ceremony July 8at the church.Officiating was Georgia State District Deputy Mark McMullen.

During his acceptance remarks, second term Grand Knight Mike Dutton said that “…it has been a privilege to lead Council 13808 over the past year and I am humbled by the involvement and support of our members.I look forward to my final year as Grand Knight and am eager to see what this Council will accomplish.”

A dinner at Da Corrado Ristorante followed the ceremony, for the new slate of officers and their guests.

The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic fraternal organization with more than 2.0 million members.Locally, Pope John Paul II Council 13808 located at Christ Our King and Savior Church, has 180 members. During 2022, Council 13808 donated over $82,000 to various charitable organizations in Greene, Putnam and Hancock counties with over 22,000 service hours from their volunteers.
