GREENSBORO, Ga. — The Lake Oconee Academy Foundation (LOAF) is excited to announce the 15th annual Tees for Titans Golf Fundraiser, scheduled for Monday, Sept. 30.

This year’s event promises to be the best yet, offering a perfect blend of competitive sport, camaraderie, and community spirit, all supporting educational experiences and resources.

Lake Oconee Academy Foundation, an independent 501(c)(3) based in Greensboro, supports the students, teachers, coaches and administrators of Lake Oconee Academy, a pre-K to 12th grade Greene County public charter school, by raising private funds for scholarships, activities, supplies and facilities that are not or cannot be funded by state or local tax dollars.

The Lake Oconee Academy Foundation, with its independent board of directors, provides funding throughout the year to ensure that Lake Oconee Academy’s diverse student body has equal access to a personally enriching and well-rounded educational experience inside and outside the classroom.

This year’s Tees for Titans event will be hosted at the award-winning Reynolds Lake Oconee National and Oconee Golf Courses. Golfers of all skill levels are invited to enjoy a fun-filled day on the greens.

In an exciting development, LOAF has added 24 team slots this year, allowing even more participants tojoin the fun and contribute to the cause. This expansion makes the tournament more inclusive, welcoming community members eager to support LOAF. The additional teams provide more opportunities for connection and a more significant impact on the lives of our students.

The excitement doesn’t end on the fairway. After a thrilling day of golf, participants will be treated to the exclusive BankSouth Cocktail Reception.
