The Del Webb community came together to help those impacted by Hurricane Helene. With the proceeds from the Volunteer Expo held Oct. 5 and additional donations from Del Webb residents a total of $17,058 was donated to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Helene disaster relief.

The Volunteer Expo sponsored by the 100+ Who Care Del Webb Lake Oconee group is an annual event where local charities can show Del Webb residents how they can get involved in the community. With 30 charities and organizations attending, a huge raffle, a wonderful bake sale by the Culinary Interest Group, lunch, games and music by Blended Paths, there was something for everyone.

This successful event wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our local businesses, Del Webb Clubs and Interest Groups, the many volunteers, individuals, and organizations who participated. Together we do make a difference in many lives.
