GREENSBORO, Ga. — Lake Oconee Eye Care, a trusted provider of comprehensive eye care services in the Lake Oconee community for over 20 years, has stepped up as an Advocate Sponsor for the 2025 Heart and Soul Gala.
The black-tie event, hosted by the Good Samaritan Foundation, celebrates the 10th anniversary of St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital and supports its work to provide accessible healthcare for the region.
Founded by Drs. Perry and Susan Lee, Lake Oconee Eye Care has been a cornerstone of the local community since the Lees moved to the area over 25 years ago. Together with Dr. John Titak, the team has built a reputation for exceptional patient care and a commitment to community service.
Dr. Perry Lee has played an integral role in community leadership, serving as a former chair of the Greene County Board of Education and as a long-time member of the St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Foundation Board of Directors. Reflecting on the importance of healthcare access in Lake Oconee, Dr. Perry Lee said, “Having a quality hospital like Good Samaritan in our backyard is vital for our community. It provides essential services close to home, from routine care to critical ancillary services. We are proud to support the Heart and Soul Gala and the hospital’s continued growth.”
Dr. Titak, who joined the practice to further enhance its capabilities, shares the Lees’ dedication to service and is a valued member of the Lake Oconee Eye Care team. Together, the practice exemplifies the spirit of community involvement.
