Dalton Carpet One Floor & Home first acquired their beloved Bulldawg Statue, Rugga, in 2011. After years of weathering, a refurbishment became necessary. Cathe Stein, the original designer, eagerly took on the challenge of updating the icon. Dalton Carpet One Floor & Home collaborated closely with her, meeting several times to share their vision and design inspiration. Using her creativity and expertise, Cathe transformed Rugga into a stunning masterpiece once again — surpassing expectations. he vision for the refurbished Rugga was to reflect the growth and evolution of Dalton Carpet One, which has expanded from a flooring store to a full-service design center, now offering tile, cabinetry, and much more. To achieve this, they added their signature Dalton Carpet One teal to his tool belt and incorporated tile, cabinetry, hardware, carpet, and hardwoods into the design. Rugga now wears the Dalton Carpet One branded hard hat and company badge to match their team of expert installers.
