- Pastor Hugh Hendrickson of First Methodist Church Greensboro-Lake Oconee with the Prayer Box at the Broad Street.
First Methodist Church Greensboro-Lake Oconee has a long history of outreach in Georgia’s Lake Country and is glad to present a new resource to the community. A Prayer Box has been installed near the Broad Street entrance to the church, providing a way for people to submit requests for prayer. Whether by name or anonymously, the request is held in a secure lockbox. The Circle Up Prayer Team meets every Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Lake Oconee Campus, but then continues to pray daily for all requests. The Circle Up Prayer Team considers it an honor to go to the Lord in prayer for others. First Methodist Church Greensboro-Lake Oconee has services at two campuses for Sunday morning worship. The Lake Oconee Campus is at 4741 Carey Station Road and has a 9 a.m. Traditional Service and an 11 a.m. Modern Worship service. The historic Greensboro Campus offers an 11 a.m. Traditional Service.
