Published 4:48 pm Thursday, January 29, 2026

The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center proudly presents the William Shakespeare comedy “Twelfth Night” on Friday, Jan. 30. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the rollicking show to begin at 7 p.m. “Twelfth Night” is an endearing Shakespeare comedy that follows the adventures of twins Viola and Sebastian, who are separated in a shipwreck in the mythical land of Illyria where Viola poses as a man to serve Duke Orsino, only for Olivia (Duke Orsino’s love) to fall for Viola. When Viola’s twin brother Sebastian arrives on the scene, it leads to chaotic hilarity and an ultimate happy ending. The production is performed by the Atlanta Shakespeare Company. The company has received rave reviews for its production of “Twelfth Night.” The Atlanta Journal-Constitution called the production a “show that’s delightful, musical, quick, hilarious and energized by cast members having a great time.” The production is directed by Mary Ruth Ralston and includes a cast led by Alejandra Ruiz as Viola, Niko Carleo as Sebastian and Anna Holland as Olivia. The Atlanta Shakespeare Company’s “Twelfth Night” is sponsored by Dr. Pamela Hall, Main Street Vet, Madison Realty and the Murphy Foundation. Tickets for the show are $35 for adults and $15 for students and can be purchased at the Cultural Center’s website at https://www.mmcc-arts.org/event-list/atlanta-shakespeare-companys-twelfth-night. The production includes a brief intermission between acts. Refreshments are available during the event.
