GREENSBORO, Ga. — The Lake Country Community Health Fair will be hosted on Saturday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lake Oconee Academy. This free event’s mission is to improve access to healthcare resources, provide preventive screenings, and offer wellness education for residents in Greensboro, Eatonton, Madison, and surrounding areas. This event will become an annual occurrence with this being its first year.
The health fair is intentionally designed to serve residents of all ages. Families, active adults, seniors and newcomers will discover resources tailored to their needs, along with the opportunity to connect directly with providers. One of the most valuable aspects of the event is the chance for relaxed, face-to-face conversations where attendees can ask questions and healthcare professionals can offer personalized guidance.
As the Lake Country continues to grow, so does the need for centralized and accessible healthcare information. The health fair addresses this need by creating a one-day resource hub where residents can discover local services, build relationships, and navigate the healthcare landscape with confidence.
Attendees can expect a hands-on experience that goes beyond a traditional health expo. The 2026 health fair will feature free health screenings, including blood pressure checks, glucose testing, posture screenings, BMI assessments, vision checks, mobility evaluations, and more, all provided by local healthcare professionals.
Overall, the event will host exhibitor booths representing a wide range of healthcare, wellness services, and related businesses available locally. These include medical clinics, dental and vision providers, physical therapy and chiropractic care, home health and hospice services, senior resources, insurance providers, mental health organizations, fitness professionals, and nonprofit health groups. Educational materials and preventative care information will be available throughout the day, with professionals on hand to explain best practices in clear, easy-to-understand terms. Tom Hanscom and Dr. Chronos look forward to making Lake Country Community Health Fair an annual event to provide the community with healthcare information and wellness services for everyone.
Exhibitor space for the 2026 health fair is now open and expected to fill quickly. Booth reservations include table space, exhibitor parking, and promotional exposure through event marketing. Premium sponsorship opportunities are also available for organizations seeking elevated visibility and recognition.
Sponsorship support plays a critical role in keeping the Health Fair free and accessible to the community by helping fund screenings, educational materials, and outreach efforts. Sponsors are recognized throughout the event and across promotional platforms for their commitment to community wellness.
Businesses and providers interested in reserving a booth or learning more about sponsorship opportunities are encouraged to contact Tom Hanscom, event organizer, at 770-331-4498 or tom.hanscom@n2co.com.
