Grantham speaks to Bulldog Club July 23

The Lake Country Bulldog Club welcomes back UGA Defensive Coordinator Todd Grantham for his second guest speaking engagement at Rock Eagle on Monday, July 23. The event will be located at Rock Eagle’s Outdoor Pavillion and is open to the public. Social hour will start at 5:30 p.m. followed by a 6:30 p.m. dinner and Grantham speaking at 7:30 p.m. Cost of the event will be $20 and will include dinner, a cash bar and opportunity to win some terrific UGA themed prizes.
Entering his third season as the defensive coordinator for the Bulldogs, Grantham has quickly established himself as one of the elite assistant coaches in the Southeastern Conference. In just two years, Grantham has made his 3-4 defensive scheme both highly effective and highly respected by opposing teams and coaches.
In 2011, the Bulldogs finished fifth in the nation in total defense allowing just 277.2 yards per game. He has been a significant factor in recruiting for the Dawgs, as evident by his involvement in Georgia’s “Dream Team” recruiting class. And with nine starters returning for 2012, the Bulldogs defense should only get better despite its early season suspensions.
There are high expectations for the 2012 Georgia football team, and Grantham is a big reason why. His intensity has helped spark both the defense and the overall attitude for the players on each side of the football.
All Georgia football fans are encouraged to come out July 23 and hear firsthand from Coach Grantham about this year’s team and its preparations for another exciting football season.
