The Putnam Alliance for the Performing Arts (PAPA) will perform Night Watch by Lucille Fletcher in The Plaza Arts Center Theater at 8 p.m. March 16, 17, 23 and 24 and at 3 p.m. March 18. Night Watch is a good old “who done it” drama that steadily builds suspense, beginning with the first blood-curdling scream to the final, breath-stopping moment of its unexpected “twist” ending. Dennis McClain is directing this production. Net proceeds are used to benefit The Plaza Arts Center. Tickets for these performances can be purchased online at www.theplazaartscenter.com and/or by calling (706) 923-1655. Reserved seating is $20 and general admission seating is $15. These prices include all fees.

Oct. 27 – Feb. 18 – ‘Scapes
The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center in partnership with The Steffen Thomas Museum presents ‘Scapes an exhibition of Landscapes, Cityscapes and Seascapes by Steffen Thomas. This exhibit presents paintings selected from private collections to represent the best works by Steffen Thomas, a German-American Expressionist, who worked as an artist in the Atlanta are from 1929 until 1990. Curated by Hathia and Andrew Hayes.

Lake Oconee Landscape Association has formed to promote professionalism in the green industry, in the lake country. All members of LOLA are required to be licensed, insured and reputable. LOLA members provides services such as; landscape installation, maintenance, lawn and shrub fertilization, weed control, garden centers, all your outdoor needs. The Greene County Toastmasters Club invites everyone who wishes to improve their public speaking ability and increase their confidence to join them.
