When you mix ingredients such as The Lake Oconee Community Church Choir; The Greensboro Elementary School Chorus; guests from Saint Mark United Methodist Church, Atlanta; Bells; Guitar, American Sign Language, familiar carols and other Christmas music of varied styles and from around the world, sprinkled with the readings of celebrated religious poet Ann Weems, warmed by the lovely setting of The Lake Club and served to a full house of guests, you certainly have a recipe for wonderful Christmas Cheer.

The annual “First Sunday” LOCC service of music occurred Sunday, Dec. 5, under the direction of Pastor for Worship and the Arts, Rev. Gary W. Arnold. The GES Chorus is directed by Cheryl Moon. Also picture with the children of GES is Superintendent Dr. Barbara Pulliam-Davis, and GES Principal Dr. Joan Antone.
