Christ Our King and Savior (COKAS) Catholic Church Women’s Guild welcomed the ladies of the Christian Outreach Thrift Shop (COTS) to their February meeting.
Guild president, Marie Madson introduced COTS Senior Board member, Barbara McClure who told the ladies how COTS reaches out to the community and surrounding areas to help those in need. She said, “It’s an affordable way for families to purchase clothing and household goods. We rely on local donations to keep the shop well stocked for our sale days (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) every week. We are thankful to the loyal group volunteers who assist us on those days.”
McClure then acted as moderator as COTS volunteers — Sheila Connely, Peggy English, Pat Frain, Jane Koska, Jan Matthews and Lexy Whythe — modeled stylish fashions from the COTS sales stock.
If you’re looking for something special, you may want to stop by and take a look, many times items still bear original sales tags! (One of the models found a Kate Spade handbag for just $3.)
