A Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament will be held on Nov. 14 at Cuscowilla’s Golf Club House. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the tournament starts at 7 p.m. Blinds run every 20 minutes. Prizes will be given to the top five players. The tournament is a benefit for Redeemer Episcopal Academy. There will be complimentary hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and cigars for purchase. Redline Express, a regional favorite bluegrass band, will perform at Allen’s Market in Milledgeville, Friday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. The band released its debut self-titled CD on Nov. 1, and will perform cuts from the CD as well as o the r popular bluegrass tunes. Copies of the CD will be available at the concert. Redline Express was formed in 2002 with founding members Sandy Nelson, Stelling Nelson , Jason Lowe, and Aubrey Nelson. The current line-up for Redline Express includes Sandy Nelson, bass and tenor vocals, Stelling Nelson , guitar and lead vocals, Jason Lowe, banjo, lead and tenor vocals, Aubrey Nelson on resonator guitar and baritone vocals. Jessica Whaley, a fifteen year old from Juliette , Georgia will join Redline Express for the show at Allen’s Market. Whaley is a multi-talented musician that plays fiddle, mandolin, guitar and bass.
