Greene County Toastmasters Club elected new officers for 2023- 2024. New officers are President, Kris Mapp; Vice President Education, Joann Sheats; Vice President Membership Betty Liedtke; Vice President Public Relations, Mary Sims; Secretary and Treasurer, Dr. Karissa Lacy Sergeant at Arms, Jim Howes.
The new officers are ready to start the new year with enthusiasm to help members grow as confident speakers and develop their communication and leadership skills. Toastmasters is fertile ground for the preparation for leadership.
Toastmasters is a ‘Learn by Doing’ organization where members proceed at their own pace. Whether you’re new to giving speeches or are a seasoned speaker, Toastmasters will help you hone your skills.
Greene County Toastmasters currently holds HYBRID meetings. The club meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 6 to 7:15 p.m. Eastern U.S. time. The meeting is in the Training Room of the Lakeside Church located at 5800 Highway 44 (Lake Oconee Parkway) in Greensboro. 30642.
