Lake Oconee Academy was the recipient of the Regions Bank GADA Directors Cup for the female division and for the overall division in Class A-Division 2 for the 2022-23 school year. This classification is comprised of 82 schools. LOA was awarded the Cup from the Georgia Athletic Directors Association for accumulating the highest number of points for all sports. The points are earned in the GHSA playoffs. Each round of the playoffs receives higher point totals. The LOA Titans had three state championships, a runner-up, multiple semifinalists, quarterfinalists and second-round appearances. LOA also won 10 region championships. “The student-athletes and coaches worked incredibly hard to achieve this award,” said athletic director Chris Ingle.
