GREENSBORO, Ga. — Our Father’s Kitchen, Inc. was the most recent recipient of a donation from Rayle Electric Membership Corporation (EMC) Foundation’s Operation Round Up Program that disburses funds for charitable purposes that operate in the Rayle EMC service area.

Rayle EMC receives no financial benefit from the funds contributed to Operation Round Up as all funds are disbursed back in to communities served by Rayle EMC to support needy and worthwhile causes in the community.

The donation to Our Father’s Kitchen will help defray the cost of preparing and serving a free meal every Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. to all those in need in Greene County. Currently, Our Father’s Kitchen, whose board members include members from First Presbyterian Church of Greensboro, Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, Historic Springfield Baptist Church, Greensboro First United Methodist Church, and Second Harvest, serves around 100 nutritious meals every week at the Greensboro First United Methodist Church downtown campus facility.
