On Monday, June 2, coaches Mark Richt, Mike Bobo and Jeremy Pruitt will be on hand for the Lake Country Bulldog Club’s much-anticipated Mark Richt Golf Tournament at Harbor Club. The head coach, his coordinators and all assistant coaches will take a break from prepping for the 2014 UGA football season to join the Bulldog faithful at Lake Oconee for a modified scramble golf tournament.

 Registration for the tournament is officially open and can be handled online at www.lakecountrybulldogclub.com. The Bulldog Club is also seeking Tee Sign sponsors, which will include a UGA logoed sign autographed by Richt and his full coaching staff or a UGA football autographed by Richt, Bobo and Pruitt. Both registration sheets and sponsor forms are available to access online or for pickup at Harmony Pet Resort.

 The sign-in for tournament day begins at 8 a.m. and a buffet breakfast will precede the event from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Harbor Club Clubhouse where golfers can mingle with the UGA assistant coaches. Prior to teeing off for a 10:15 a.m. shotgun start, golfers can enjoy a heated competition on the practice green with a putting contest featuring coaches Bobo and Pruitt. A reception will take place after the tournament, which will include featured speaker, Coach Richt.

 Reception will include hors d’oeuvres, beverages and a live auction and raffle that include UGA memorabilia. Guests will have an opportunity to hear Mark Richt speak on the football team and give a preview for the summer’s preparations and a new season that is just a few short months away.

 The Mark Richt Golf Tournament is the biggest event of the year for The Lake Country Bulldog Club and is an excellent event full of fellowship with avid dawg fans. Proceeds from the Golf Tournament benefit the Mark Richt Football Camp and a portion of funds will go to the Georgia Fund, an annual giving program to support academic and alumni initiatives at UGA.
