The Higdon House Inn & Gardens was all aglow and decked out in blue and white for the Greene County Chamber’s Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony March 11. Winners of the 2013 Awards include: 2013 Student of the Year for Middle School, eighth grader Malik Jones, Carson Middle School; 2013 Student of the Year for High School, senior Haley Lord, Nathanael Greene Academy, Large Business of the Year was presented to Novelis, Inc.; Small Business of the Year, Law Offices of Falanga and Chalker; Agri-Business of the Year, Liberty Antique Tractor Pullers, Inc.; Ambassador of the Year, Russ Mitchell; and Volunteer of the Year, Jeanne Hesse.  The Chamber would like to thank all who supported the annual event and congratulations to all award winners.
