Concert for a Cause at The Corry House Sept. 13

Global Samaritans announces the 13th annual Concert at the Corry House will be held Friday, Sept. 13.
The Kinchafoonee Cowboys will perform this year. Originally from the Albany, Georgia area, the band is named after the Kinchafoonee Creek, a tributary of the Flint River.For over 30 years, the Cowboys have been favorites throughout Georgia, playing all types of venues, and sharing the stage with country music entertainers such as Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, Jason Aldean, Hank Williams Jr., and many others. Be prepared for great music and a fun evening on the beautiful grounds of The Corry House.
Global Samaritans, founded by Drs. Bo and Ruby Cheves of Greene County in 1997, is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to showing God’s love by enhancing the physical and spiritual well-being of the people in Southern Zambia.Global Samaritans includes a children’s home, secondary school and pastors conference center located just outside of Livingstone, Zambia.From its base at the children’s home, Global Samaritans also operates three commercial well-drilling rigs providing water to villages that do not currently have access to clean water. Global Samaritans is thankful for another blessed year in all areas of ministry.
The venue opens at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served prior to the concert, which begins at 7p.m. Dinner, desserts and beverages will be provided by Iron Fork Café of Eatonton and available for purchase at the venue, or purchase dinner tickets online in advance. The Curio Market will be open featuring handmade Zambian crafts and don’t miss the silent auction.
All proceeds benefit Global Samaritans Children’s Home in Zambia. Tickets are$25 for lawn seats (bring your favorite chair or blanket) and $40 for reserved seating ($300 for a table of eight). Tickets available at www.globalsamaritans.organd at The Corry House the day of the concert
