MADISON, Ga. — Bennet Evans is coming back.

The frontman for the indie rock band A.D. Blanco is making a return to the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center with his band A.D. Blanco on Thursday, Oct. 17 at the Center’s main stage.

The show begins at 7:30 p.m.

Last year, A.D. Blanco, led by Evans who is a 2021 graduate of Morgan County High School, had the nearly sold-out Cultural Center crowd on its collective feet during the two-hour show. Evans incorporated several Morgan County High School music program students into his sets including a dramatic finish with the Morgan County High School Marching Band drumline. Evans will return to the Center with A.D. Blanco drummer Aaron White. Tickets for the show are currently on sale for $35 and can be purchased through the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center’s website at https://www.mmcc-arts.org

Last year’s concert in Evans’ hometown was electric. Evans utilized several local musicians in his sets and finished with a flourish. The show was a mix of A.D. Blanco originals and eclectic hits covers like Bruce Springsteen’s “Born to Run” and Rod Stewart’s “Maggie May.”

A.D. Blanco has released two EPs (April’s Fool; 04/21/2023 and Second Life; 2022) and an album Time Never Wasted (2021). Since last year’s show, the band has been touring.

Madison-Morgan Cultural Center Board Chairman Ruth Bracewell said the Center welcomed Evans and his band back for an encore performance. “Last year’s show was well received by the community and was a blast. We look forward to this year’s show.”
