Lake Oconee Elks Lodge Volunteers

On Valentine’s Day, Lake Oconee Elks Lodge volunteers went to the Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville to take part in a Valentine’s Day party for the veterans living at the home. There were several different groups there that day to serve Georgia’s veterans with lunch and various goody bags to hand out to the veterans. Lake Oconee Elks Lodge did dessert with beautiful chocolate and vanilla cakes decorated for Valentine’s Day and chocolate and vanilla ice cream. One of Lake Oconee’s Elks, Beth Colie, made lollipop treats to hand out to the veterans. The recreation room, where the party was held, looked beautiful and all the volunteers and veterans had a great time.
