GREENSBORO, Ga. — Alliance Home & Land Group, comprised of Chris Hewatt, Rich Johns and Bob Miller, selected the Oconee Regional Humane Society through their quarterly Alliance Gives Back community charity program. This event was open to the public and everyone was encouraged to bring donations for the dogs and cats of ORHS.

“This was our first of many, Alliance Gives Back selected charities and we knew exactly who we wanted to kick it off with,” said Johns. Donations overflowed the office lobby. From dog and cat food, to toys, blankets and cleaning supplies. Checks, cash, and gift cards were also donated.

“We were ecstatic with the turnout and the amount of donations received”, Miller said, “and couldn’t be happier hosting such a wonderful charity that does so much for our local community”. Chris Hewatt, Rich Johns, and Bob Miller presented a $500 check to ORHS President, Bob Hartman as the adoptable dogs looked on. Light refreshments and beverages were served, and an enjoyable morning was had by all.

“Contributing to the mission of the ORHS was important to our entire team since we are so heavily invested in the community,” said Hewatt. “We’re glad that we’ve been able to help support this organization and all of their hard work in finding these loving animals their forever homes.”

Alliance Gives Back will select another charity in November for the last quarter of 2022 to receive a $500 donation.  If you would like to nominate a local charity from Greene, Putnam, Morgan, Hancock or Baldwin County please email alliancegivesback@alliancehomeandlandgroup.com.
