We believe in magic at The Plaza. After seeing Rumours ATL, a Fleetwood Mac Tribute play outside at The Plaza, we are not sure how patrons wouldn’t believe in magic!
At a completely sold out show, over 500 people came out, set up their lawn chairs, brought their ice cold drinks and enjoyed an evening on The Plaza lawn.
According to their website, Rumours, formed in 2004, has taken the U.S. by storm with their stage scorching renditions of Fleetwood Mac songs. Fans from across the nation claim that Rumours is the band to see if you are looking for an authentic recreation of live Fleetwood Mac shows.
Rumours has sold out shows all over and Eatonton was no different.
Patrons from all over middle Georgia came out, some who had never been to The Plaza before.
“I really enjoyed the hometown atmosphere at the Rumours concert,” Sandi Hembree, Rumours attendee said. “The Plaza’s volunteers make you feel at home and comfortable. They are very accommodating! The concert was so much fun and the lead singer sounds just like Stevie Nicks. I felt like we were transported back in time. Kona Ice with the shots was a great addition as well.”
In addition to a fantastic musical performance, patrons had the option of enjoying some delicious food as well. Lamar Kersey with Kersey Catering was at The Plaza serving up some dishes for the evening.
All in all, Fleetwood Mac fans danced, sang and dreamed the night away.
The next show on The Plaza’s lineup is the summer production of Godspell. You can purchase tickets online or by calling 706-923-1655.
