The children at Little Scholars Academy celebrated Johnny Appleseed’s birthday this week. His official birthday is on Sept. 26, he would have been 246 years old. They enjoyed making mini apple pies, painting with different color apples, playing an alphabet apple tree game, making their own construction paper Johnny Appleseeds characters and special hats. 

The students also got to meet the “REAL” Johnny Appleseed in person. They were just so excited to received a wonderful apple gift from him, too. A special “Thank You” to Johnny for maintaining the proper social distance during his visit and wearing a mask during this COVID-19 crisis.
