EATONTON, Ga. — In this current season of COVID-19, availability of primary care is more important than ever, especially for those suffering from conditions such as chronic pain or cardiac concerns. Fear of going into a doctor’s office or the inability to even make contact with the staff can cause stress and prevent the most vulnerable patients fromreceiving much-needed care. Dr. Eddie Richardson, a longtime Eatonton physician, is taking this problem and turning it on its head by enhancing his current practice model to provide a diverse concierge program for those in need of pain management and cardiology care, as well as increased availability of primary care services.

For the past seven years, Dr. Richardson has been providing personalized care to his patients in his membership-based practice at Lake Oconee Concierge Medicine. Now that practice will include three levels of care: primary care, pain management, and cardiology care. New patients will choose the level that best fits their needs and Dr. Richardson will be there to provide unmatched service and availability.

“This new program is designed to provide you with a truly exceptional level of care,” Dr. Richardson said. “Regardless of the package you choose, you will get comprehensive, personalized medical care that takes the ‘whole’ of you into account; body, mind, and spirit.”

This enhanced program will put the focus on the individual needs of each patient and provide an overall wellness plan that will emphasize early detection of disease and preventive care. In exchange for an annual membership fee, the patient will receive benefits like same- or next-day appointments, a comprehensive annual checkup, extended visits with little to no waiting, and after-hours availability directly with Dr. Richardson. Each package will have additional benefits specific to the chosen care level.

Enrollment for Dr. Richardson’s new enhanced concierge packages is now open and taking applications. For more information call Patient Liaison Vicki Hammack at 706-521-4521 or visit www.lakeoconeeconciergedoc.com.
