In March Publix conducted a Feeding More Together campaign. The many generous customers of Publix donated more than five palettes of food. The products included much needed proteins such as canned chicken, beef stew and peanut butter. Fruit, oatmeal, breakfast bars, canned vegetable and macaroni and cheese were also included. These items will especially be used to feed children and seniors.

The Greene County Food Pantry supports a large community of people in need — children, low-income families and senior citizens who are 60 years of age or older. The pantry serves more than 1000 individuals representing over 500 families each month.

The Food Pantry is a 501©3 non-profit organization. Tax deductible donations are needed and can be mailed to Greene County Food Pantry, PO Box 697, Greensboro, Ga. 30642.
