The Greene County Tourism Committee recently welcomed Ricky Newsom to the Greene County Tourism Committee. Newsom will serve the committee as an at-large appointment by the Greene County Board of Commissioners.    

“We warmly welcome Ricky to the committee,” said Tamie Moran, chairperson of Greene County Tourism, “Ricky’s familiarity with the community as well as with the Greene County Tourism Committee are essential to our marketing efforts. We are pleased to have him as an addition.”

Newsom is a financial advisor and branch manager for the Lake Oconee office of Wells Fargo Advisors. A graduate of the University of Georgia Terry College of Business with a bachelor of business administration degree in finance, he is a life long resident of Greene County. Active in the community, he serves on the Greene County Chamber of Commerce board of directors and is a member of the First United Baptist Church of Union Point.
