Greene Co. Chamber celebrates Dharma Farms grand opening
GREENSBORO, Ga. — On Saturday, Aug. 21, Anitha Guruswami-Lee and Shane Lee announced the opening of their authentic Indian cuisine to-go restaurant, Dharma Farms, located at 1122 Lake Oconee Parkway Suite 130, Eatonton.
During the opening ceremony, the two owners met with locals and held a ribbon cutting with Greene County Chamber of Commerce (GCCOC).
“Dharma Farms is an exciting new diverse addition to the dining options at Lake Oconee. I’m thrilled to welcome them as a member of the Greene County Chamber of Commerce,” said Mika Mills, Chamber president.
“After sharing some meals with friends and neighbors, we were encouraged to prepare traditional Indian fare to share with the community,” Anitha beamed. Anitha and Shane Lee have fallen in love with the atmosphere, landscape, and people of Lake Oconee. Now it is
their hope that Lake Oconee will fall in love with Dharma Farms.
“Thank you so much for the show of support and love from the community at our grand opening today,” exclaimed Anitha and Shane. “We enjoyed meeting more of our friends and neighbors and we hope you enjoyed our cooking.”
According to the Lees, the turnout to the Grand Opening was so successful that they sold out of several items. This event was a wonderful time for customers to meet and welcome Dharma Farms to the Lake Country.
