Concert for a Cause at The Corry House to feature John Berry
Global Samaritans is excited to announce that the 9th annual Concert at the Corry House will be held on Friday, Oct. 2. Even more exciting is that Grammy Award-winning artist John Berry will be this year’s featured performer.
Global Samaritans, founded by Drs Bo and Ruby Cheves of Greene County in 1997, is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to showing God’s love by enhancing the physical and spiritual well-being of the people in Southern Zambia.
Global Samaritans includes a children’s home and school located just outside of Livingstone, Zambia. From its base at the children’s home, Global Samaritans also operates two commercial well-drilling rigs providing water to villages that do not currently have access to clean water.
Fortunately, Zambia has not been hit hard with COVID-19 and none of Global Samaritans’ staff or children have contracted the virus. Although mission team travel has been curtailed this year, the well-drilling operation has been able to resume, providing clean water to those in need.
The venue opens at 6 and the concert begins at 7 p.m. Boxed dinner, desserts and bottled drinks will be available for purchase.
All proceeds benefit Global Samaritans Children’s Home in Zambia.
$25 for lawn seats (bring your favorite chair or blanket)
$40 for reserved seating ($300 for a table of eight)
Tickets available at www.globalsamaritans.org
and at The Corry House the day of the concert
This is an outdoor event and COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.
The Corry House is located at 6641 Union Point Highway, Union Point, Ga. 30069. For more information visit www.globalsamaritans.org, email erin@globalsamaritans.org or call 706-296-1765.
